Urban Quartet is not a “classical quartet” trying to pull-off rock charts. “I’ve only bee0n in Arizona a short while,” Matheny remarked, “but it already feels like home. I’m so proud to be part of this vibrant cultural scene. Our arts community is world class, the desert landscape is beautiful, and the people who live here are the coolest.”
Like many recording artists, Matheny and his band spend much of the year on the road. “We really look forward to WinterFest,” he explains, “the season when we focus on collaborative creative projects, launch our new recordings, develop fresh repertoire, and reconnect with home town friends and fans.”
